In celebration of Pride Month, we’re proud to highlight Prismatic Pictures as an archive within our platform that showcases positive and affirming representations of LGBTQ+ communities throughout history. From moments of love and protest to artistic expressions of identity, these images offer a powerful visual record of resilience, pride, and creativity.

Osinachi, born Prince Jacon Osinachi Igwe, is a self-taught digital artist whose work explores personal experiences within a technological environment. He grew up in Aba, Nigeria, produces drawings using Microsoft Word, where he utilises the basic limited design palette of the word processing software to create narrative illustrations.

Africa’s foremost crypto artist, Osinachi‘s works are further registered in the blockchain and sold as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). In 2018, he became the first-ever Nigerian artist to showcase artworks at the Ethereal Summit, a conference in New York that seeks to bridge the gap between technology and art through blockchain.

Jim Hubbard is a pioneering documentarian whose work has explored the richness and complexity of queer life since 1974. His powerful archive captures pivotal moments in LGBTQ+ history - from vibrant pride parades to grassroots protests - offering an unfiltered lens into the struggles, triumphs, and resilience of the community.
